My own AT fusion kit sitting very nicely on it's new rack (a big improvement!)
A five piece fusion kit from John Tully:
A really beautifull six piece rock kit with extra 10 inch tom in blue from Marc Juan.
I'm Sorry to report that Marc is rather disappointed with his kit. He was hoping it would be a chameleon-like kit that would be equally at home playing rock or jazz by changing heads. He feels it didn't live up to the sales hype. I personally find the kits to be much more appropriate for rock type tunings than jazz, too. Having paid top price for it when it was first launched, he can not now trade it without suffering a heavy loss, so is keeping it in the hope it will appreciate in value as a collectible kit, in time. That is a sad story - but is is still a stunning looking kit!
This is a Rock 5 piece Vibrasonic kit from Rob Munro. Note the differences to the Maple kits. The tom fittings are fastened directly to the shells, the bass drum has straight legs and the bass drum rims are chrome. They do not have the wooden rims of the Maple bass drums. They are made of basswood and have Ivor's patented reflective 'Vibrasonic' paint coated inside the shells. Although cheaper than the maple kits, they are still excellent sounding and well made:
