After 8 years of enjoyable and very successful racing, from Minimoto in 2001, right up to his first year living out his lifelong dream of racing in the British Superbike Series in 2008, Aaron Easter and Azmanracing were faced with the reality of having to take a break from full time racing on financial grounds. With the UK heading deeper into recession, it has proved impossible to source the financial backing needed for Aaron & Azmanracing to compete at BSB in 2009, and with the family finances now at breaking point after 8 years of racing, Aaron has taken the decision that he no longer wants to be a burden. This is not the end of Aaron's so far successful career though, a fantastic offer from Steve Burge means he is to race the Ex. Richard Rowley Tigcraft Rotax 640 Midimono at all rounds of the 2009 Buff British Supermono Championships, and at the UK round of the European Supermono Championships, to be held on June 19th/20th 2009 at Snetterton, as part of the BSB meeting that same weekend. Aaron is really looking forward to getting back on a Mono again, after finishing 4th in the 2007 Series on his little Tigcraft Honda 450, he's hoping the more powerful 640 will see him back on race winning pace again after a very difficult 2008. Thanks go out to all who have helped Aaron and Azmanracing over the years, he'll be back on track soon to repay the faith shown in him by Sponsors, friends and family alike.
