If there is a God then why does he allow so much suffering in the world? |

Answer:

It’s not
God’s fault
He gives us free will

wars, crime, greed (man hurts man)

He works through suffering
He helps you to
get through the hard times
He sent his own
Son to suffer for us and get us to heaven. Does he care? Look at the

2) What about other religions, why is yours the right one? |

Answer:
a) 34% adhere to
Christianity world-wide (the largest religion by a long way). Only
4.5% are atheists.
b) There is truth
and much that is good in other religions – we respect others.
c) Christians do not
consider themselves better – we’re all sinners

The main
difference – other religions encourage people
to try and be good enough to get to heaven, Christians acknowledge that
they are not good enough

3) Hasn’t science disproved God and
the Bible? |

Answer:
a) Many of the great
scientists were Christians – Galileo, Keppler, Newton, Farraday,
Pasteur, and Kelvin, to name but a few.
b) It takes a lot of
faith to believe in the big bang theory – i.e. a chance explosion
resulting in what we have now, and that ‘nothing created something out
of nothing’.
c) Everything in
creation points to a there being a designer behind it all.
