SummerSong was first developed in 2001 by two professional musicians to provide information for people who are considering a professional career as a singer.

Since then it has developed, and singers have joined the course for many reasons - just for fun; fulfilling an ambition to record a song; personal development; as well as for furthering a career.

Summersong is a 5 day intensive course designed to give experience and build confidence. The course assumes that you are already a singer. While you will receive daily voice coaching the main aim of the week is to improve your performance and to get you ready for recording.

Record a demo
The most important part of a singer's press kit is a demo. The costs involved in recording a demo properly can be astronomical. So we have devised Summersong. You will spend the week in the company of professional musicians and like minded people getting encouragement, building your confidence and getting to know everything you will need to further your aims to be a professional singer.

Preparing for a career
To have a career as a musician you need to plan for it in the same way as you plan to be an accountant or a doctor. We have brought together a quality team to help you -- a life coach to help you plan your career, a group of musicians with whom you'll rehearse everyday, a producer to coach you in stage technique and review your videos every day, a vocal coach to help improve your performance and a top studio to give you the opportunity to sound your best. Add to that dance classes and songwriting workshops and you'll have a week that will change your life.


In previous years we have had singers aged between 14 and 62, male and female, singing pop, country, traditional, folk and R'n'B, some who have never been on a stage and some already working full time as singers .
