As usual we
will be parading at Ballywatt Presbyterian Church for
the Remembrance Service.and the laying of the wreath.
The service begins at 11:30am so please be in the hall
in plenty of time for forming up and marching round
to the Church Building.
Car
Wash 2007 style - Sat 3/11/2007
On Saturday
3rd November we will be holding our Annual Car Wash.
In past times we would go round the houses and wash
cars but circumstances prevail and this year we will
be static.
Between the hours of 10am and 4pm we will be in
the grounds of Ballywatt Presyterian Church will
buckets and sponges. This is our major fund raisning
event of the calendar so bring your car along and
get it gleaming. We don't charge
a
set
fee -
all
donations
are welcome.
The next big event
for your diaries is our Annual Camp.
This year
we are taking a group of Company Section Boys to County
Down. We felt we should stay in Northern Ireland as
we have quite a young group and it's been several years
since we visited what is an excellent camp site on
the Ards Peninsula.
For those going - don't forget the parents meeting.
At that you will learn what is involved and what preparations
need to be made
For everyone else - with a young bunch
of campers in our care we have great responsibility.
We would appreciate prayer support. Please pray that
God looks after us and makes use of the time we are
away together.
This year's Duke of Edinburgh
and BB expeditions will be taking place in the summer.
As
usual there will be a lot of organise in a short time.
Jenny will be contacting those involved
to arrange training and hikes. She would appreciate
as much cooperation as possible - I'm sure you can
understand the logistical nightmare this can become
during such a busy period of the year.
