| Team Line Up |
| 13 |
Stuart Cornaby |
Made a couple of good saves during the second half. But could have done more to try and prevent first goal and was a fault in breakdown of communication with Shaun Porter on second goal. |
| 25 |
Phil Higginson |
At fault on the first goal, but filled in well at the back in the first half. Made some good challenges and involved in some good first half passing. Struggled more second half facing some tough tackles. |
| 12 |
Shaun Porter |
Communication breakdown with keeper Cornaby on second goal but other than that looked pretty solid with one or two good forward runs / balls. |
| 5 |
Michael Cornaby |
Looked more comfortable in his more familar role in defence after filling in in midfield in the last outing. But an ongoing injury lead to an early first half substutution. |
| 14 |
Tom Gripton |
Faced numerous tough challenges down the right but did not back out of a challenge and gave as good as he got. Struggled again to make a real impact going forward. |
| 6 |
Darren Wollaston |
As the first pre-season game, gave his all and covered out of posistion players well. |
| 17 |
Richard Hale |
Committed to the cause once again, filled in at the back when Michael Cornaby went off injured. Looked comfortable even out of posistion. Lost out on the tackle that lead to the third goal but would harsh to lay all the blame at his feet for the goal. |
| 18 |
Stephen Evans |
Got the ball under control and made the simple passes well, overhit a number of forward balls though. In all a decent display for first pre-season match. |
| 27 |
Michael Freeman |
As part of the front three found it difficult to breach the Park Inn defence. |
| 26 |
Chris Campbell |
Fantastic strike for the goal however found it hard to link up and spent most of the time chasinf overhit passes. |
| 9 |
Richard Porter |
Worked hard chasing balls down but had little chances and was unable to make a real impact on the game. |
| Substitutes |
| 8 |
Ryan Hickman |
Again another to fill in at the back, certainly an improvement on the last match but struggled down the right as often left to deal with two opposing players. |
| 24 |
Anthony Blakeway |
Gave some enegy to the team and linked up well with Hale in defence. Took note of his weakness's in last outing and put them right with good simple passes but was unable to make and impact in the final third. |
