A splendid night of  bowling with a good crowd at Meadowbank saw the combination of Comberbach's Peters and Jones take the title this evening. Some good tussles with the youngsters Dave Tomkinson and Nick Hamman just being pipped by the odd chalk and the ladies Barbara Winnington and Pam Plant also giving good account of themselves, but all in all a pleasant evening enjoyed by all winners, losers and spectators alike.

A selection of photo's of last nights contestants I am sure you recognise most of them having probably meeting them throughout the season. Thanks to Cliff Dickenson & Son for their support and to Meadowbank club for providing the venue and not forgetting the officials..referee Mr P Humphreys and measurers Mr N Palin and Mr F.Huxley...finally Mr G.Horwill of course !
