Wharton Rec is situated next to Winsford United Football ground and if you park on the football club car park at the far side as you look across towards the bungalows then enter the park near to the entrance to the Football Social Club,the greens are on the left about 50yds.

Due to circumstances at Wharton Rec Bowling Club it is with regret that I will no longer be updating the club internet site forthwith and nobody seems to want to take on the responsibility and take over so after over four successful years and being the first club to venture into future technology in the area it just remains to say many thanks to all who have supported myself and the site I hope you enjoyed and found WRBC website of use and interesting ?

Wharton Rec B team in the Mid Cheshire div 6 still look on course for the league title beating Norley 241 : 164 and still keeping a good gap from Winsford Cons C. ?

As this old newspaper cutting dated wednesday August 31st 1994 proclaims there were and have been better days at the Rec and non more than our brilliant double full house over Farmers Arms B a few years ago,you will I am sure recognise one or two of the players in their junior years who started the sport at the Rec.Here is the list of players.
