The Farm
Shilvington Farm
Our predominantly clay soil is not ideal for many
crops, but we do grow maize, winter wheat and
spring barley.
We appreciate how lucky we are to live in
such a beautiful place and are doing our
best to look after the environment as well
as maintaining a viable working farm.
We raise 80 beef cattle and a few temperamental chickens.
Ours is a working Farm which we will be happy to
show around, time permitting!
Sadly we have recently had to sell our dairy cows
because we were no longer able to make a living by
milking them. We are now hoping to diversify into
other areas.
