Vacancies
We currently have vacancies for the following leaders:
Anchor Boys (Working with 5's to 7's.) - Mondays from 6:00-7:30pm
A001 - Group Officer in Charge (Uniform post)
A committed Christian or adherent who would take responsibility for running a Monday evening programme, organising staff and providing a series of planned programme to cover the 6 school terms based on our Activity Award Scheme. The programme would run from 6-7.30pm and advanced preparation would be required. This post is for a trained Leader who would need to undertake Brigade Training at one of our training centres.
A002 - Art & Craft or All-round Leader.
We need one or two enthusiasts to run a series of art and craft subjects, and also run a few small games based on our Activity Award Scheme. This includes preparation and sourcing of subject matter and materials. Approximate time of activity per week = 10-15 minutes.
A003 - Football Coach (see J001 below)
We also would like a suitable adult to instruct boys on football skills and team playing. This could be a weekend activity lasting no more than 60 minutes. The activity would take place on Weston Recreation Ground. Previous experience working with young children would be desirable and references would be required.
Band (Working with 8's to 18's) - Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30pm
B001 - Band Leader - Conductor
We need an enthusiastic qualified/semi-qualified Conductor to co-ordinate the band and to devise new display marching routines and show routines and to encourage band membership. It's desirable that the incumbent has previous experience in marching or school bands.
B002 - Music Teacher - Brass (Valve Instruments)
We need a qualified/semi-qualified instructor to teach the Trumpet Section of our Band; to devise a new repertoir and to bring on Boys through music gradings. It's desirable that the incumbent has previous experience in marching or school bands.
B003 - Music Teacher - Woodwind
We need a qualified/semi-qualified instructor to teach the Saxophone Section of our Band (B flat and E flat); to devise a new repertoir and to bring on Boys through music gradings. It's desirable that the incumbent has previous experience in marching or school bands.
B004 - Music Teacher - PercussionWe need a qualified/semi-qualified instructor to teach modern rythmns and beats in the Percussion Section of our Band; to devise a new repertoir and to liaise with the Brass and Woodwind teachers.
Juniors (Working with 8's to 10's) - Fridays from 6:00 to 7:30pm
J001 - Football Coach (see A003 above)

We need a number of Coaches with relevant qualifications and experience of working with children and young people in the following subjects. Sessions will run for 30-45 minutes per week over the school academic year.
