70's Celebrity, Bernie Clifton - Arrested!

70'S CELEBRITY: BERNIE CLIFTON, ARRESTED!

 

Bernie Clifton, the speciality Ostrich act of 70s fame has been taken in for questioning by Cromer Police.
Sources indicate that Mr.Clifton,74, may be involved in the illegal sport of Ostrich / Kangaroo baiting. Inspector Pickles declared that in an early morning raid of Mr.Cliftons B&B, officers found amongst a pile of discarded Rod Hull scripts, a large number of low-grade Ugandan Pom Pom slippers and feather Tutu's.

Animal lover, Rolf Harris, 78,  is publicly supporting Mr Clifton. In an emotional press statement this afternoon Mr Harris pledged to support Bernie Clifton ‘through thick and thin’. Rolf said that he once met Clifton in a lift and was moved by Mr.Clifton’s obvious love for his moth eaten ostrich. Mr.Harris ended the press meeting with a rousing rendition of "The Court Of King Caractacus".  The case continues
