----------- NEW PAGE - UNDER CONSTRUCTION ---------------
Comedy television often hits wide of the mark with me. I think most intentional comedy seems so contrived that it isn't funny. Enter PRISONER CELL BLOCK 'H' ,the most hilarious and thoroughly entertaining programme of all time. It had obsurd plots, bad acting, cheap film sets, but was tongue-in-cheek and told at such a good pace that it became compulsive and essential viewing.
I dedicate this page for all the fans, especially those in London, who stuck with it whilst it was regularly cancelled or rescheduled throughout. For those of us in the South-East, we had to wait twelve years to see all eight years-worth of episodes. But it was worth it.
I have mountains of Prisoner material to use here, so its going to take a while to get everything online, so please bear with me.
When this page is constructed we will be able to re-live some classic PCBH moments with pictures, sounds and video clips from the series.
The Prisoner: Cell Block 'H' page will feature all the old lags we've met over the years...
