Electric
flight
Welcome
to the BDMFC electric flight section of our
web site.
As
there is a growing interest in electric flight
within our Club and in the sport in general,
this section will hopefully chart the learning
experiences of Members as we get to grips with
motors, ESCs, flight packs etc. Initially it
will be kept simple with not too much technical
jargon and hopefully provide a beginner's guide
to getting started and progressing through the
learning stages.
We
have decided to call this group of Members 'Sparkies'
and any Member who has an interest in electric
flight automatically becomes a Sparky. We hope
to use this section to provide information on
kit builds, motors, battery packs, accessories
and anything else related to electric flight
including pictures of models. Any information,
tips, feedback and pictures from Members or
visitors to the site will be very welcome.
