New housing developments around the Village mean that we continuously have to be aware of noise and safety as a priority in operating our flying site. The present max noise level allowed on aircraft operating from the site is 82dB at 7 metres. All i.c. powered models must have a Club noise test pass certificate.

Safety - all Club Members (and invited guests) are now required to hold a minimum SAA Bronze Safety award in order to fly solo at the Club site. Members without a Bronze (or higher) Safety award must be supervised by a qualified solo Member while flying at the Club site.
