Production Two and Two Make Sex by Richard Harris and Leslie Darbon
is a comedy for three men and three women - directed by Shirlee Grundy.
Middle-aged George undergoing a mid life crisis seeks reassurance from
pretty young Jane. His wife Clare confides to her best friend and agony
aunt Ruth her suspicions that husband George is having an affair and after a
variety of events finds herself behaving in somewhat the same way. Mistaken
identities bound and rebound and a bizarrely humorous game of make-believe
is played by all.
Performance dates are Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th April at Stock
Village Hall – doors open 7.30 p.m. curtain up at 8.00 p.m. We will have our
usual licensed bar and will also be serving tea and coffee. We have ample
car parking and a hearing aid loop system.
Tickets are priced at £6 (£5 for concessions) on sale from Saturday 31st
March and will be available from our Box Offices: Victorian Posy, Stock and

Billericay United Reformed Church
SATURDAY 28 APRIL from 2pm to 5pm –
Billericay United Reform Church is holding a Church Festival Afternoon
in the Church on Chapel Street, Billericay. The church is celebrating its
support for Christian Aid and other overseas aid and development work. The
programme includes Choral music from Billericay Choral Society, Puppet
Shows, a Flower Display, Children’s presentation by ARK young people, Organ
Recitals and Drama. There will also be films and an exhibition of Christian
Aid, other aid and development work in Jamaica, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and
Palestine.
The new Kathleen Martin Room attached to the church will be open. It is
available for community use and has up-to-date audio-visual equipment. The
afternoon will show its potential as a community meeting place. Refreshments
will be served throughout the afternoon and everyone will be welcome.
Billericay Rotary Club
Once again this year Billericay Rotary Club is organising its Stroke Awareness Campaign which will be held on SATURDAY 28 APRIL in the Reading Rooms on the High Street from 10am to 1pm and on the forecourt of Regis House (PDJ Murray insurance) from 10am to 3pm. Qualified nurses will be in attendance to take your Blood Pressure and to explain the need to keep it within the prescribed levels. The aim is to encourage people to be aware of their BP and consequently help prevent strokes. If you are a qualified to take BP perhaps you would like to volunteer your services at either of the venues you never know you may be able to prevent someone from having a stroke.
