Cheques should be payable to BDRA and the trip title indicated on the reverse of the cheque. Departure points for all trips: - GG - Gooseberry Green, bus stop at roundabout, OA - Orchard Avenue, approaching Stock Road, LR - Laindon Road, bus stop between Sun corner and the fire station, SG - South Green, bus stop to Wickford, opposite the Retirement Apartments.

Please note - when concession prices (i.e. Seniors, Children etc) are quoted, these must be requested at the time of booking. Otherwise full price will be paid.

THURSDAY 19thAPRIL 2007– DOVER CASTLE ASHFORD RETAIL SHOPPING OUTLET - SEATS AVAIL.

No fortress in England boasts a longer history than Dover Castle. Commanding the shortest sea crossing between England and the continent, the site has served as a vital strategic centre since the Iron Age. Today, visitors can enjoy the castle's wealth of history through a range of exciting exhibitions designed to take people back in time. More recently (during the Second World War), the castle tunnels were used in the defence of the country. Following the castle and tunnels visit, we plan to spend a couple of hours perusing the bargains at the Ashford Retail Outlets Centre. Price including Luxury coach (with toilet) and entrance to Castle: Adults – £18, Seniors - £16, Children - £14. Dep. GG 8.15 am, OA 8.20 am, LR 8.25 am, and SG 8.30 am. Back in Billericay approx. 6 pm.

THURSDAY 10th MAY 2007 – LEONARDSLEE GARDENS - SEATS AVAILABLE

Leonardslee is one of England’s most spectacular gardens, famous for rhododendrons, azaleas, and a wonderful natural woodland setting. The gardens are internationally renowned and include 7 lakes, wildfowl, wallabies, deer and other wildlife. Price including Luxury coach (with toilet) – £17. Dep. FRIDAY 14th JULY 2007 - SMALLHYTHE PLACE & TENTERDEN VINEYARDS - PHONE A.S.A.P.

An opportunity to visit the historical theatre at Smallhythe Place. This half-timbered house, built in the early 16th century when Smallhythe was a thriving shipbuilding yard, was the home of the Victorian actress Ellen Terry from 1899 to 1928 and contains her fascinating theatre collection. The cottage grounds include her rose garden, orchard, nuttery, a wonderful display of wild flowers and the Barn Theatre.
Then on to the Vineyards at Tenterden for your inclusive buffet lunch (dessert optional extra). After lunch there will be tour of the Vineyards followed by wine tasting. There should be time  for some shopping in the Vineyard shops before we head home. Price including Entrance to Small hythe Place & Tenterden Vineyards, Buffet Lunch, Vineyard Tour, Wine Tasting and luxury coach (with toilet) - £31. Dep. Travel via Euro tunnel to Bruges with its historical architecture, bridges and canals. Sample Belgian chocolate, or simply enjoy some window shopping. Inclusive price - £25. Includes Executive coach with toilet. Dep. GG 6.00 am, OA 6.05 am, LR 6.10 am, and SG 6.15 am. Back in Billericay approx 10 pm.

WEDNESDAY 6th JUNE 2007 – BURY ST EDMUNDS SHOP & SEE

A chance to see the shops on market day and the sights of Bury St Edmunds (including the famous Abbey & Gardens). Price including Luxury coach (with toilet) – £10. Dep. GG 9.00 am, OA 9.05 am, LR 9.10 am, and SG 9.15 am. Back in Billericay approx. 7 pm. 

SATURDAY 7th JULY 2007 – HAMPTON COURT FLOWER SHOW

One of the world’s largest horticultural shows set in the grounds of the Royal Palace. Price including Entrance and a Luxury coach (with toilet) – RHS Members (with guest) £26 each, Non Members - £33 each. Depart: Gooseberry Green 8.00 am, Orchard Avenue 8.05 am, Laindon Road 8.10 am South Green 8.15 am.  Back in Billericay approx. 7 pm.

 SATURDAY 21st JULY 2007 – THE ROYAL HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY GARDENS AT WISLEY.

An opportunity to see the wonderful gardens of the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisely. To wander by the lake and the ornamental pond, to visit the New Glass House and to wander amongst the flower beds so lovingly maintained by some of the best gardeners in the country. Price including Entrance and a Luxury coach (with toilet) – RHS Members (membership card to be shown at the entrance) - £10. Non Members - £16. Dep.
