Members of PAVIS-in-Billericay, an outreach service provided by PAVIS
Foundation for Visually Impaired People, are still enjoying keeping fit in
the Reading rooms every Tuesday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 and we are
always happy to welcome newcomers. If on the other hand you would prefer a
more sedate cup of tea or coffee with a biscuit or two, then you may wish to
come along at 11:00 when it is refreshment time!
In order to help keep our services funded, PAVIS is holding its annual
Spring Fayre in the Reading Rooms on Saturday 25 April. Starting at 9.30
you will find plants, toys, bric-a-brac, tombola, raffle and, of course,
refreshments but come early as we will only be open until 12 noon! Some of
our members are also joining Billericay MP, John Baron, on his annual Fun
Walk, again to help raise urgently needed funds.
If you, or anyone you know who cannot read this article, would like to find
out more about the Spring Fayre or any of our services for people with sight
loss, please give us a call on 01268 522817 or drop in on a Tuesday morning
at the Reading Rooms.

Several Billericay residents, including myself, are members of the group and
we would welcome anyone else who is interested in these fascinating plants
at any of our meetings.
STOCK DRAMA GROUP
presents
TABLE MANNERS – by
ALAN AYCKBOURN
Directed by
Mary Cole From 22nd to 25th April in Stock Village
Hall.
Penned by one of the most famous playwrights of them all, Alan Ayckbourn’s
‘Table Manners’ is a wonderful play of human observation and situation
comedy. Part of the ‘Norman Conquest’ trilogy it centres around the loves
and life of the hapless Norman Dewers in his quest to make all women happy;
but this is also a telling cross section of the lives of those around him
and a mirror into the lives of us all, as we struggle to get by the best we
can. Six complex characters that you will both adore, detest and probably
recognise, take you trough a weekend of laughter and tears in this simple
but finely tuned tale.
Tickets are £6 each - £5 concessions (no concessions on Friday) and are
available from: Stock Box Office telephone 01277 840635, Billericay Box
Office – Exclusive Dry Cleaners, Holly Court, Billericay .
Doors open 7.30 p.m. Curtain up 8.00 p.m. Refreshments and Licensed
