Hi Trevor,
I started to write to you last month about the worries I had about the
latest BDSA consultation, and while I didn't finish that email fortunately
Andrew did the business. So thank you Andrew for setting out a well reasoned
argument against the overbearing nature of BDSA attempts to straitjacket all
residents, and well done Trevor for once again demonstrating that the
Resident is the only forum in Billericay I've come across that is willing to
air the rational argument in difficult debates (cf the Billericay School
farm article some time ago now).
Thanks again,
Matt
Dear Sir
It is mentioned in the article of the front page in the Dec/Jan Resident, just received, that in the 70’s, after all the meetings and signings to keep Sun Corner as an open space, that everyone thought it would be green forever. I signed at that time to keep it green, pointing out that my grandmother, who was born in 1855, had spoken many times of the fetes and other activities, such as the Annual Sports Day, had been held there.
This green space is needed for Billericay and it should never, ever be sold for building.
Yours Faithfully
DA May (Mrs).
