At its meeting held on Tuesday 9 June 2009 the Town Council considered the following planning applications: 

Application No. 09/00422/TEL  Land Near Junction of Western Road & London Road Installation of a 10m telecommunications column with the appearance of a telegraph pole incorporating one antenna & an associated equipment cabinet & one meter cabinet. The Town Council objected to this application on the following grounds:-

*Damage residential amenity because the mast was only 6m from
a bedroom window

* Damage to visual amenity because the site was in an exposed area, which was also open to vandalism

Application No.09/00433/FULL Single storey rear extension (conservatory), convert garage to family room & construct single storey front extension for use as a garage at 40 Lake Avenue, Billericay. The Town Council had no objection to this application.
