Original members of the group attended painting classes run by Lois Bull, a well-known local art teacher, at The Fold.  This was so named as it was the meeting place of The Billericay Arts Association (BAA)!  After some years Lois retired from teaching but many of those attending the class enjoyed the relaxing hobby so much they decided to carry on as a group, meeting to paint or draw individually using their own materials.

They now meet in Studio 2 at The Fold (Billericay Arts Centre), 72 Laindon Road (behind The Ivory Rooms) on a Wednesday evening during term time from 7.30 – 9.30 p.m., with a break mid-session for tea, coffee, and a chat.

Liz and Bruce AllisonThe group, led by Liz and Bruce Allison, is happy for you to come along for one free evening session, without commitment, this term if you think you would like to join them.   Term ends on Wednesday, 1st July and restarts on Wednesday, 23rd September.  For further information please ring Liz Allison on 01277 623612.
