Visitors walking round the park will notice that the Flower Meadow has been fenced off and the seeds are already growing. We hope this measure will protect it from geese and small feet and make for an even better floral display this summer.

Our marvellous Tuesday Gardening Group have been busy transforming the flower beds and will also be creating a fern and helebore bed near the Lake Avenue entrance and gardens. Thanks to the Billericay Town Council there is also a fantastic display of Rhododendrons in the area they created last year.
Next month – Saturday 16th July sees the return of our free ‘Jazz in the Park’ event. This year’s line-up includes some previous favourites and some hot new local performers, so get your picnic blanket out and join us for some musical treats from 4pm until about 7pm.
Our photographic competition is now well underway and the changes in season provide some great opportunities to find that winning shot on your camera or mobile phone! With hundreds of pounds in cash prizes this year, this is a chance for everyone to take part and maybe even win!
