Please note the all payments should by paid at least 1 month prior to the trip and sent to Malcolm & Margaret Knight, 11 Longrise, Billericay CM12 9QR. Cheques should be payable to BDRA and the trip title indicated on the reverse of the cheque. Departure points for all trips: - GG - Gooseberry Green, bus stop at roundabout, OA - Orchard Avenue, approaching Stock Road, LR - Laindon Road, bus stop between Sun corner and the fire station, SG - South Green, bus stop to Wickford, opposite the Retirement Apartments.

Please note - when concession prices (i.e. Seniors, Children etc) are quoted, these must be requested at the time of booking. Otherwise full price will be paid.

WEDNESDAY 19th MARCH 2008 – THE FIRST EMPEROR: CHINA’s TERRACOTTA ARMY at the BRITISH MUSEUM FULL - PLEASE PAY

The First Emperor: China’s Terracotta Army explores one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the twentieth century, giving an insight into China’s First Emperor, Qin Shihangdi, and his legacy. The exhibition includes a number of the world-famous terracotta warriors from Xi’an, China, which were buried alongside the First Emperor in readiness for the afterlife, as well as some of the most striking recent discoveries made on the site. There will be time to eat and visit the British Museum before visiting the exhibition. Price including Entrance Tickets & Luxury coach (with toilet): Adults – £18.50. Dep. GG 10.30 am, OA 10.35 am, LR 10.40 am, GG 10.45 am.  Back in Billericay approx. 7 pm.

SATURDAY 15th MARCH 2008 – CITE EUROPE, CALAIS. FULL - PLEASE PAY

If you have ever travelled to France with a short stop at Cite Europe and wondered what the site offered other than the Supermarket, well here’s your chance to find out. We will travel to Cite Europe via Eurotunnel and arrive in time for you to dine in one of the many restaurants. You will then be able to leisurely explore all the shops of Cite Europe as well as the Supermarket. Price including Luxury coach (with toilet) – £22.50.  Dep. GG 7.00 am, OA 7.05 am, LR 7.10 am, SG 7.15 am.  Back in Billericay before 9pm. You must bring a current passport with you.

SATURDAY 3rd MAY 2008 – WEALD OF KENT CRAFT FAIR at PENSHURST PLACE

This year the Weald of Kent Craft Show is being held in the grounds of Penshurst Place. The Craft Fair will include Special Features such as: Antiques Valuation Team; Show Garden; Tutored Wine Tasting; Specialist food Marquee; Young persons play ground; Mini workshops by resident experts; Up to 250 Exhibiting Craftsmen; and Rural Craft Demonstrations.  Price including Combined Entrance to the Craft Fair, Penshurst Place, and the Gardens plus the Luxury coach (with toilet) – Adults - £19; Seniors - £18.  Dep. GG 9.00 am, OA 9.05 am, LR 9.10 am, SG 9.15 am.  Back in Billericay approx. 6pm.
