COACH FULL PLEASE PAY NOW Learn the remarkable story of how Bletchley Park was chosen as a war time location from the arrival of “Captain Ridley's” shooting party in 1938, to the secrets of cracking the Nazi Enigma cipher.
In 1939 with the threat of war looming, a small team of scholars turned code breakers arrived at Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire, their mission was not only to crack Hitler's “Unbreakable” Cipher Machine, but also a large number of lower-level German systems as well as those for Hitler’s allies.
Step back in time at Bletchley Park and enjoy highly atmospheric soundscapes playing snatches of conversations, music, laughter and even a hint of romance, as well as the noises of bicycle bells and steam trains to conjure up how it would have sounded during WW2.
There is much to explore, experience and enjoy at Bletchley. Our admission fee allows complimentary use of the newly launched multi media guide and an optional one hour outdoor walking guided tour, with one of the volunteer tour guides, subject to availability. Your ticket is also valid for one year.
Bletchley Park's Hut 4 Cafe is a self-serve licensed facility serving hot and cold food, or for a lighter bite there is also a Costa coffee shop in the visitors centre.

TUESDAY 12TH APRIL 2016 – ASHFORD DESIGNER OUTLET, DUNGENESS FOR FISH AND CHIP LUNCH, AFTERNOON IN RYE.We arrive at the Ashford Designer Outlet where we will have time for coffee or a browse in the many shops. We will rejoin our coach for the journey to The Pilot Inn, Dungeness, which is a family run Pub-Restaurant famous for their outstanding fish and chips. The Pilot Inn is situated a stones throw from the sea, in the heart of the breathtaking Dungeness National Nature Reserve.
Our fish and chip lunch will include peas, bread, butter, tea or coffee, desserts are available at an extra charge. After lunch we will make our way to Rye for the remainder of the day.

- SCOTNEY CASTLE HOUSE AND GARDENS AND NOTCUTTS GARDEN CENTRE
Scotney Castle house and gardens belong to the National Trust. The landscaped gardens with traditional beds and borders have many unique features, including the walled garden, glade and naturalistic painting. Our trip includes a guided Rhododendron walk.
Scotney Castle house has a wealth of history dating back to the original inhabitants of the old castle. The house is crammed with paintings, textiles, furniture, books and feels like the last owner Betty, has just popped out to the shops.
The tea room will be open for morning coffee and lunches can be obtained alternatively, bring your own food to eat in the woodland picnic area.
After leaving Scotney Castle we will travel to the newly refurbished extensive Notcutts Garden Centre, Pembury which stocks plants, tools, gifts and homeware. It also has a food department with a butchers counter.
We will be able to have refreshments in the large tea rooms before we travel home.
