Fairtrade

There are five goals that must be achieved in order for Billericay to become a Fairtrade Town and we are almost there. Our bid for Fairtrade Town status for Billericay will soon be put together. To help us in our bid if your club/organisation serves Fairtrade tea and coffee or if your office or workplace has Fairtrade tea and coffee in the tearoom please let us know - Maralyn Buchanan 01277 656715 or e-mail fairtrade@bdra.org   

Fairtrade products of all sorts can be bought in Co-op (Stock Road), Nature’s Table (The Walk), Oxfam, Somerfield (Queens Park), Somerfield (High Street), The Emporium, Threshers (Bridge Parade), Waitrose and Woolworth’s. And Fairtrade refreshments are served in Café in the Park, Costa Coffee, Greggs, The Chequers (from June). The steering group will be producing a Fairtrade directory to let people know where they can buy or find Fairtrade products in Billericay.
