Please note the all payments should by paid at least 1 month prior to the trip and sent to Malcolm & Margaret Knight, 11 Longrise, Billericay CM12 9QR. Cheques should be payable to BDRA and the trip title indicated on the reverse of the cheque. Departure points for all trips: - GG - Gooseberry Green, bus stop at roundabout, OA - Orchard Avenue, approaching Stock Road, LR - Laindon Road, bus stop between Sun corner and the fire station, SG - South Green, bus stop to Wickford, opposite the Retirement Apartments.

Please note - when concession prices (i.e. Seniors, Children etc) are quoted, these must be requested at the time of booking. Otherwise full price will be paid.

FRIDAY 16th May 2008 – BRIGHTON plus ST MARY’S HOUSE & GARDEN with CREAM TEA - FULL PLEASE PAY NOW

Opportunities to spend some time at Brighton’s sea front, to enjoy the beach atmosphere and perhaps have fish and chips for lunch; alternatively, you may want to walk the narrow shopping lanes and relax in one of Brighton’s many Bistros. After lunch we will go onto St Mary’s House at Bramber where will be given a guided tour of this fascinating 15th Century timber framed house. At the end of the tour we will relax with a Country House Tea (scone with butter, cream and strawberry jam; cake and a pot of tea). Following tea, we will be given a guided tour of the Gardens before we head off home to Billericay. All in all a full and exciting day. THURSDAY 9th OCTOBER 2008 – HAIRSPRAY AT THE SHAFTESBURY THEATRE - FULL PLEASE PAY NOW

 A chance to see Michael Ball as you’ve never seen him in the smash hit HAIRSPRAY at the Shaftsbury Theatre - a fantastic show at a fantastic price. There will be time before the show to enjoy a meal and make this a special occasion. Price including Best Seats (£60) in the Stalls & Luxury coach – £52. Dep. 5 NIGHT HOLIDAY to BOURNEMOUTH - MONDAY 27th April to SATURDAY 2nd MAY 2009, CALL ASAP

Following the success of our holiday to the Isle of Wight, we have arranged to visit Bournemouth next Spring. We will be staying for 5 nights at the Whitehall Hotel in the very centre of Bournemouth. All rooms will be non-smoking with en-suite facilities, colour TV and tea making facilities. There is a lift to all floors in the hotel and porterage will be arranged on days of arrival and departure. our stay will be on a half board basis (i.e. full breakfast and 3 course evening meal). The Hotel will provide entertainment on 2 evenings.
The Hotel itself overlooks Bournemouth's Lower Central Gardens with access to the Lower Central Gardens through the hotel gardens via some steps. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Pier and Bournemouth's famous beaches, the Pavilion Theatre, the BIC entertainment centre, as well as the local shopping centre and cinemas. During our stay in Bournemouth we plan a number of excursions (e.g. Poole, the historic house of Kingston Lacy, and the Gardens at Exbury). In addition there will be a free day to enjoy Bournemouth or simply to relax in the comfort of the hotel.
Full price inclusive of the Coach, Hotel (half board basis), and day trips will be approx £260. Will all those interested please call as soon as possible to confirm their requirements and allow us to finalise arrangements with the Hotel.

THURSDAY 19th JUNE 2008 BIDDENDEN VINEYARD & LYMPNE WILD ANIMAL PARK

An opportunity to visit Kent's oldest family owned vineyard and enjoy a Ploughman's Platter served with a glass of wine. Included in the visit is a guided tour of the vineyard, followed by tastings and, of course, you can take the opportunity to buy the award winning Wines, Ciders and Juices produced on site. We will then rejoin the coach for Port Lympne Wild Animal Park & Gardens, where we will be met and guided on board a specially commissioned Safari vehicle. A 90 minute Safari will follow, with far reaching views past Rhino, Zebra and Ostrich to the coast. Watch patiently as you see 30 different species interacting with each other, with no bars - just your vehicle to keep you safe from preying eyes! TUESDAY 24th JUNE 2008 – HEVER CASTLE

 We visit the home of both the Boleyn Girls famous for their liaisons with Henry VIII. The castle offers a rare glimpse of life with the Royals at a fascinating time in Britain's history. Our visit to this famous castle will include access to the Castle and Gardens with a Guided Tour of the Garden during Hever Castle's Rose Week. Finally, we will finish our visit with Afternoon Cream Tea. Price including Combined Entrance to the Castle and Gardens, Guided Tour of the Gardens, afternoon Cream Tea, plus the Luxury coach.
