A sizeable cast of some old, some new faces; with a directorial debut, brings you “Off the Hook”, a comedy by Derek Benfield. Set in a ‘quiet’ country hotel, a story of mistaken identities, and characters that are not quite as expected, unfolds; where the phrase “What a difference a day makes” really does apply. Who is the real object of Norah’s affections; does poor Harold ever get out from under those thumbs, everyone’s, and off the ivy; and will the pigs finally realise where home is? All these questions and more will be answered, as you are introduced to a domineering mother with her wallflower daughter, a trio of fortune hunters and not to mention the proprietor’s wife! A comedy, with a small helping of farce, will make this an evening to send you home with a smile on your face. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to welcoming you.
Tickets are available from 27th October at: The Victorian Posy (Florist), The Square, Stock or Exclusive Dry Cleaners, Holly Court, Billericay and cast members at the cost of: £6 for adults (£5 for children under 16 and Senior Citizens).
