Christmas Cards for Good Causes

CHRISTMAS CARDS enable us to keep in touch with friends and relations, often thought of but perhaps seldom seen due to the demands of everyday life.  Buying charity Christmas cards means that we can send our festive messages and at the same time help to raise much-needed funds for the causes they represent. Cards for Good Causes operates a national network of more than 350 multi-charity Christmas card shops during the weeks leading up to Christmas.  The organisation’s mission is simple - to make charity Christmas cards as widely available as possible, to increase awareness for their causes and to ensure that the charities receive the highest possible return from their card sales.

By keeping operating costs to a bare minimum, participating charities receive at least 75p in every £1 for their card sales through Cards for Good Causes shops, out of which they have to pay for the production and distribution of their cards and any VAT. Billericay Cards for Good Causes shop will be open at the Billericay Library from Saturday October 31 to Wednesday 16 December.  Trading hours are Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
