Don't
forget that Fun Night, organised by the Rotary Club of Billericay
Mayflower, will be on Wednesday 12 December when the High Street will
be closed to traffic from 4.30pm. As always the decorative lights
will be provided by the Billericay District Residents' Association
with the financial support of traders, businesses and residents of
the town.
On a day when the weather was cold but dry the Association raised the sum of £929.61 to help pay for the Christmas lights. Our grateful thanks to everyone who put money in our tins and to our helpers who gave so freely of their time.
The organisers of the Quiz Night wish to thank all of the people who took part and made the night a resounding success. The money raised was £755.09.
