Annual General Meeting

About thirty people attended the Annual General Meeting of the Billericay District Residents’ Association and heard Mr. Marc Davies, Locality Director, BBW, South West Essex Primary Care Trust talk about the work of the Trust. It was an interesting talk in which Mr Davies said that he was working to improve the provision of NHS dental services in Billericay. He also told the meeting that alterations to the GP surgery at St Andrews to provide more consulting rooms were soon to be undertaken.

After the talk the following people were elected to office

Chairman                    John Buchanan
Vice Chairman            Trevor Stansfield
Treasurer                    Ron Eaton
Secretary                    Maureen Dann.

Mr Ron Eaton replaces Mr Graham Goodeve as treasurer. Graham has occupied the position for a number of years and has now decided to take a well earned rest.
