A REMINDER

The Annual General Meeting of the Billericay District Residents’ Association will be held in the Canon Roche Hall, Laindon Road, Billericay at 8.00pm on Friday 16 May 1997. The guest speaker will be Ric Morgan of BBC Essex, presenter of Ric’s at Six on Saturday evenings and the Sunday Paper Review. Light refreshments will be served after the meeting.

 

PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS

The Parish Council elections will be held on Thursday 22 May 1997 and the following is a list of people standing for election:

 To comply with the law each Parish Council must hold, between 1 April and 1 June, an Annual Parish meeting which may, by law, discuss all Parish affairs and pass resolutions about them. Obviously in this first year there may be little to discuss but the meetings must still be held. In addition to the Annual Parish Meeting, within 14 days following the 22 May Parish Councils elections each Parish Council must hold its first Council meeting. Arrangements for all these meetings are set out below:

CRUNCH TIME

The Crunch will be visiting the following locations between the hours of 9.00am and 12.00 noon:

ALEXANDERS SCHOOL OF DRAMA

Alexanders School of Drama runs classes on a Saturday morning at the Fold in Billericay. Pupils are taken from the age of 5 years.
The aim of Alexanders School of Drama is for children to explore their imaginations, develop their acting skills, increase their confidence and improve their speech.
The classes cover role plays, improvisations, script work, speech work and breathing and relaxation exercises.
For six months of the year we work towards an annual production and the rest of the year towards examinations undertaken by LAMDA. For further details please ring 01277 201335
