Stonyhill Indoor Bowls Club

It's all very well caravanning, golfing and tinkering about in the garden in the summer, but what do you do in the winter months?  Do you like meeting people but don't want to feel self-conscious about being on your own, or maybe you want to do something on a level footing with your partner.  A gentle activity beats sitting front of the telly any day.  WHY NOT GIVE INDOOR BOWLS A TRY?

Did you know that there is a large Indoor Bowls Hall at Herongate on the A128?  We are having a "Come and Try Weekend"  in September.  Any age, even working people can find time to pop along because we'll be open from 4 - 10 pm on Friday 14th and from 10 - 3 pm on Saturday 15th.  We have 7 full sized
rinks, a licensed bar also serving refreshments and plenty of car parking. We can lend you some bowls and help you get started.  Just wear flat soled shoes or better still, bring your slippers.  We are a friendly club and if you decide to join, there is a special starter pack to get you going.  You can stay and try for as long as you like and it won't cost you a penny.  So what are you waiting for?  If you want to know any more call Stonyhill Indoor Bowls Club on 01277 811848.  We are on the left hand side of the A128 going towards the Halfway House near the A127.  Same entrance as the Golf Club. . . . .
