Following on from the success of Jazz in the Park we are now getting ready to present Bark in the Park on Saturday 17th September, so make sure your four-legged friends are pampered and preened and bring them along to compete for cups and rosettes in a variety of classes. This year there will be a fantastic display by the Conquest K9 Display Team together with side stalls that include Miniature Hedgehogs, Blue Tails Epilepsy Dogs, Dogs Trust, Guide Dogs and many others. There will be lots to entertain children so all we need is some fine weather! All details can be found on our website and the Bark in the Park Facebook page.

Our AGM will take place on 29th September at 7.45pm at Christchurch Hall. Our speaker this year will be Jim Butress who used to be responsible for the Royal Parks and more recently as the popular judge in The Great Allotment Challenge. He won eight gold medals at RHS Chelsea and in recognition of his unrivalled contribution to horticulture, in 2006, he was awarded the highest accolade possible in the gardening world, the Victoria Medal of Honour. His talks are great fun as well as being very interesting. FoLM members and visitors are welcome to join us.
