Peaseblossom loves the late Springtime most of all; and there's nothing she likes better than a beautiful big wisteria in full bloom - the perfect place to gather Faery dust. Mind you, lupins and sweet peas will do very nicely, and even laburnum is OK, as long as she's careful. Like all Faeries, though, Peaseblossom is hard to spot even if you know where to look for her - she's very good at not being seen!
Peaseblossom is made from light gold sparse string mohair, and stands approximately 4" tall, which she can do all by herself! She has an embroidered perle cotton nose and shiny black glass eyes, and she's fully thread jointed. She's stuffed with polyfill and steel shot, making her heavy, floppy and poseable. Her wings, which are detachable, are handpainted with the markings of the Common Blue butterfly; and her head-dress of flowers is also hand-made.
