Here's Twizzle with his best friend, Whiskas. Like most toddlers, Twizzle's into everything - whatever's going on, he likes to know, and he's always asking questions (especially 'Why?'). It's often said that 'curiosity killed the cat', but Whiskas is a bit older and wiser than his young friend - he's learned not to rush in, and only gets underfoot when it suits him. For Twizzle, life is one long quest for knowledge; whereas for Whiskas, a tin of sardines is usually the answer he's looking for! Twizzle is made from rust-coloured German mohair, and has been hand-shaded and scissor-sculpted to bring out his cute features. His nose is embroidered with perle cotton, he has black glass eyes, and his paw-pads are handpainted. He has a cotter-pin joint for his head, his arms and legs are thread jointed, and he's stuffed with steel shot and polyfill. Standing (which he can do all by himself), he's approximately 5" tall (not counting his topknot). Whiskas is made from white felt, with bead eyes, and he's stuffed with polyfill. |
