Robert Cain & Co Ltd

Location: Liverpool, England
Website: Cain's
Robert Cain established his brewery in Liverpool in 1858
when he bought a brewery in Stanhope Street. In 1911 it merged with Walkers of
Warrington to became Walker Cains and production was switched to Warrington. In
the 1990s the brewery found itself under the ownership of the Danish brewing
group Bryggerigruppen A/S who renamed it as Robert Cain & Co Ltd. In 2002 it was
bought by the Dusanj brothers, the first Asian family to ever run a British
brewery.
