Founded in 1982 by brothers-in-law Pierre Gobron and
Christian Bauweraerts the brewery's beers soon found a loyal following, backed
up by the brewery's cute red hatted Gnome logo. In 2006 the Duvel Moortgat group
bought the brewery.
