Brouwerij De Koninck

Location: Antwerp, Belgium
Website: De Koninck
De Koninck was founded in 1827 by Joseph Henricus De
Koninck who bought a coach-house between Antwerp and Berchem. When Joseph died
his wife Elisabeth remarried Johannes Vervliet who decided to build a brwery in
the coach house. In 1845 Elisabeth's son, Carolus, from her first marriage took
over the brewery. In 1912 the brewery was renamed as Brasserie Charles De
Koninck. The brewery is still independent.
