I guess you could call this a child’s or beginners escape the room game. The graphics are big and chunky and rather crude but certainly it’ll teach anyone new to the genre the basics of searching and finding keys. Unfortunately without knowledge of Japanese the password will be impossible to get, and yes, I had to cheat too to find out what it is!!!
1. From the start location, zoom in on the
bookcase and click the unlocked drawer. You’ll find a piece of paper inside.
2. Zoom back out and turn to the left. Click the bottom corner of the poster
that’s on the wall and collect the gold key.
3. Move to the left and collect the paper from inside the waste paper bin.
(It wouldn’t be an adventure without one of those would it!)
4. Move to the left and click the head of the flower to find a silver key
inside.
5. Click the back of the chair to zoom in on the desk and open the drawer
(gold key is needed for this) – Collect the paper that’s inside.
6. Move to the left again so you’re back at the start and then zoom in on
the bookcase again.
7. Open the locked drawer (silver key) and get the knife.
8. Use the knife on the box that is stuck with sticky tape to get yet
another piece of paper.
9. Finally click the two pink and white books to get the final piece of
paper.
10. Go back to the PC. Turn it on and it will ask for a password.
11. Here’s where your knowledge of Japanese comes in. The Japanese words for
flower, bee and strawberry are Hana, Hachi and Ichigo
12. These can be equated to Japanese numbers as they sound similar. (just
look it up on
Wikipedia) – So you eventually get the number 87 for flower, 8 for bee
and 15 for strawberry.
13. Using one of the other pieces of paper to get the order correct (2>3>1)
you can input the code and the final key pops out of the PC CD-Rom drive.
14. Collect the key and leave through the main door.
15. Note – It’s worth saying that some walkthroughs on the net list the
final code as being 641587; didn’t work for me!
