The history of Herrnbräu goes back to the 17th century when
the breweries of Ingolstadt formed a brewery co-operative. In 1899 this
co-operative merged with the Bürgerlichen Brauhaus Ingolstadt. In 2003 the
Bürgerlichen Brauhaus Ingolstadt was renamed and rearranged into the Herrnbräu
GmbH & Co. KG.
