Location:          Iserlohn, Germany

Website:          Iserlohn Website

Founded on the 28th of August 1899, the Brauerei Iserlohn AG became a sizeable operation and in 1921 they reached a stock majority with the Germania brewery in Dortmund. Then just a couple of months later the Iserlohn brewery was taken over by the Dortmunder Union Brewery. In 2003 when the Dortmunder Union Brewery itself was incorporated into the drinks group Brau und Brunnen AG, three buyers bought out the brewery and renamed it as the Privatbrauerei Iserlohn GmbH. In 2006, through it's subsidiary "Privatbrauerei Gießen" the Privatbrauerei Iserlohn GmbH took over the productionline and storage facilities of the Denninghoff brewery in Giessen.
