Like many other breweries the history of Königsbacher goes
back further than the 1900 date that it officially adopted the name. The brewery
has taken over several others in the region including J. Bubser Brauerei zur
Nette, Richmondis-Bräu from Cologne, Hamacher GmbH in Aachen and A. Bonnet & Cie.
GmbH in Meisenheim. It entered into a partnership with the Karlsberg Brauerei KG
Weber from Homburg in 2002
