The Lvivske Brewery was founded in the 15th century but today it is owned by Baltic Beverages Holding, a holding company which is owned by Carlsberg and Scottish & Newcastle. Since Carlsberg's 2008 acquisition of Scottish and Newcastle it is owned 100% by Carlsberg.
