Morland was first homed in West Ilsley in Berkshire in 1711 but its more well known home is that of Abingdon Oxfordshire, which is where they moved in the 1860's after the purchase of two breweries in the town. They purchased and bought out many other breweries in the area (including Ruddles in 1997) before being bought out themselves by Greene King in the year 2000.
