Brouwerij de Oranjeboom

Location:         Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Website:          Oranjeboom page on the InBev Website

Oranjeboom was founded in 1671 in Rotterdam and was one of the first breweries to brew lager in the Netherlands. It did its own fair share of brewery take overs including Wertha (Weert), Phoenix (Amersfoort), Barbarossa (Groningen) and Zuid Hollandse Bierbrouwerij before itself being taken over by Allied Breweries in 1967. In 1990 production shifted to the Breda brewery and this was sold to Interbrew in 1995. When Interbrew became InBev in 2004 the Dutch Export Department split to become United Dutch Breweries and they now own the Oranjeboom brand.
