I've found it almost impossible to glean any definite information about the origins of Schwaben Bräu other than today it's part of a brewing group called Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu GmbH & Co. KG after merging with Dinkelacker in 1994. This group contains other breweries like Sanwald & Cluss. This isn't helped by the fact their website is written in local dialect!
