Brasserie Van Steenberge
Location: Ertvelde, Belgium
Website: Van Steenberge
The Van Steenberge brewery has its history back in 1874 when Jen-Baptist De Bruin set up a brewery called De Peer next to his farm. Through a couple of family relationships the brewery came into the hands of Paul Van Steenberge. in 1980 Van Steenberge started to brew the Bornem Dubbel and Bornem Tripel beers for the Sint-Bernadus abbey in Bornem. These had been produced by the Beirens brewery in Wommelgem.
