                        Bank's Beer

Bank's Brewery was formed in Park Brewery in Wolverhampton in 1875. The Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries PLC was formed from an amalgamation of three local brewing companies in 1890, Bank's, George Thompson & Sons of Dudley and Victoria Breweries and Charles Colonel Smith's Brewery. It bought Camerons Brewery in Hartlepool in 1992 and in 1999 Marston, Thompson & Evershed and has continued to buy estates of public houses to become the largest independent brewing group with over 2,000 pubs. In 2007 the company agreed to change it's name to Marston's which will be reflected in both its pubs and its brewing division.
