This programme and sample materials provide pupils at the early stages of learning English with additional opportunities to develop basic communicative English. Some sample materials are Word documents, others link to online activities or lesson plans on the internet which open in new windows) The programme and sample activities are most suitable for Key Stage 2 early stage EAL learners. 

This programme is intended as a starting point for teachers new to working with beginner pupils - to provide activities for learners, give ideas for teachers to develop their own resources and highlight some of the materials available on the web.
