PROGRAMME REPORT 2007 - 2008 |
| 05/09/2007 | Dyffryn Ogwen Camera Club held their first meeting of the season recently. The Chairman Emyr Roberts talked the members through the forthcoming programme for the first half of the year, along with some additional announcements. After the tea break he showed some slides of the snow sculpture competition that he recently took part in and which was held in Finland. The next meeting will be on Sept 19th entitled 'Around the World in 100 Prints' by Brian Pearce FRPS. |

| 03/10/07 | At the last meeting Geraint Jones from the Marchwiel Camera Club came and gave a talk about how using your camera's shutter and aperture settings affects your final image. Prints were shown demonstrating these effects. In the second half he showed some excellent prints of various motor rallies using the aforementioned techniques. The next meeting will be on Wed the 17th and will be the Open competition. |
| 17/10/07 | The last meeting was the Club's annual 'Open' competition judged by the members themselves, there was an excellent selection of work by both beginners and advanced members. The results will be announced at the next meeting. The next meeting will be on Wed the 31st and will be a showing of the NWPA Prints Folio, a selection of prints from all 21 Clubs in North Wales. |
| 30/10.07 | The last meeting was the showing of the NWPA Prints Folio, a selection of 76 prints from all 21 Clubs in North Wales commented on by Brian Pierce of Criccieth. Results of the competition held two weeks ago are as follows. Beginners Prints: 1st John Cambridge, 2nd Gary Jones, 3rd Gary Jones & Maggie Adam. Advanced Prints: 1st Emyr Roberts, 2nd & 3rd Steve Bone. Slides: 1st Maggie Adam, 2nd Nigel Williams, 3rd Berwyn Williams. The next meeting will be a trip to Joe Griffiths'' Studio in Llanwnda on Nov 14th. |
