You
have the choice of flying into either of the two international
airports on Cyprus, at Paphos or Larnaca.
The nearest airport to the property is at Paphos, being only
about 20 - 30 minute taxi ride away, which is our personal choice of
airport. Larnaca airport is about one and half to two hours drive
away along a motorway. Airport transfers by Taxi from Paphos
(c. Cy £20) or Larnaca (c. Cy £80). Hire car hires can
also be booked for collection at the airport. The cost of the taxi
transfer from Larnaca usually makes the hiring of a car from this
location preferable. In Cyprus driving is on the left hand side of the
road, the same as in the UK, so there is no need to allow for
adjustment. Even the electric plugs are the same as the UK,
providing a very home from home feel, apart from the better
weather, fine food and wine.
Flight costs can vary depending on the time of year and the
airport of departure. The average price of flights seems to range
between £140-£240, though they can be cheaper with special offers.
